Emma Chamberlain has a new plus one.
Indeed, the Anything Goes podcast host stepped out at the 2024 Paris Olympics alongside singer Peter McPoland, with whom she’s recently sparked romance rumors.
For the women’s gymnastics qualifier on July 28, Emma, 23, wore a vintage Ralph Lauren racing jacket with sunglasses and gold hoop earrings, while Peter, also 23, wore a classic navy blue polo by the same brand and blue jeans.
The duo engaged in conversation on the sidelines of the gymnastics qualifier, which saw Simone Biles pull the lead for Team USA for her vault and floor exercises, while Sunisa Lee championed the uneven bars. Emma and Peter weren’t the only stars at the event—Ariana Grande, Tom Cruise and Jessica Chastain also cheered on Team USA.
However, gymnastics is the sport that Emma had previously gushed over being able to see during the games.
“I’ve never been to the Olympics at all—It’s gonna be an entire week of brand new experience,” she told Vogue July 25, before noting the sport she was most anticipating to watch. “Always gymnastics. I grew up doing cheerleading and gymnastics and stuff, so gymnastics is very special to me.”
And Emma—who dated singer Role Model for three years before their 2023 breakup—had stepped out earlier in the weekend alongside Peter at another Olympics event. On July 27, the duo attended Ralph Lauren’s An Evening at Ralph’s with Emma’s father, Michael Chamberlain.
During the outing hosted by the designer behind Team USA’s outfits, Peter and Emma looked all loved up with Peter, who sat between Emma and her father, with his arm around her waist.
While the pair have yet to speak out about their relationship, Emma and Peter have stepped out together several times over the last few months. In May, the Chamberlain Coffee founder and Peter attended a Saturday Night Live taping where they were joined by Gracie Abrams and Emma’s stylist Jared Ellner. Later that same month, they attended Kilby Block Party music festival in Utah.
Peter has also previously praised Emma and even included one of her YouTube video clips in the 2023 music video for his song “Blue.”
“I appreciate Emma Chamberlain so much,” he said in an interview with Zach Sang in November 2023, noting she was one of his heroes. “She’s an icon to me. I look up to Emma Chamberlain, I love her. She’s great.”
Emma and Peter’s appearance at the 2024 Olympics is far from the only one to turn heads. Keep reading to see all the stars at the games so far.
